RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine

Nicky graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in London in 2009. Following a summer working with game animals in South Africa she joined a busy first opinion small animal practice, gaining her postgraduate certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2016 and becoming an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine.  

Nicky joined forces with Mark and the team late in 2019 determined to continue working for a small, personal independent practice.

Nicky is interested in all aspect of medicine and surgery  but particularly enjoys working up the more complex medical cases  which often involve managing multiple conditions alongside one another.

When not at work Nicky and husband Daniel are busy juggling life with 2 young children, a Labrador (Bisley), rescue cat (Hovis), and the latest addition to the family – a small flock of Balwen Welsh Mountain Sheep!

Qualifications;

BVetMed – Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine

PgC SAM – Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Medicine

MRCVS – Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons

RCVS AVP SAM – Royal College Of Veterinary Surgeons Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine.
